Chapter One
College Admissions Coaching
ABOUT
College admissions is a major transition for students and families. I know this firsthand as a parent and as a school counseling professional who has experienced this process from multiple vantages.
I come to this work with a background in storytelling, whole-child education, and counseling. Before we talk about acceptance rates or application deadlines, I want to know what lights your student up, what they're genuinely curious about, and what kind of environment makes them thrive. That self-knowledge leads to better lists, stronger essays, and decisions that actually stick.
My goal is for students to leave this process knowing themselves better than when they started. I work with students to uncover what's already there — challenging them to lean into their natural curiosity, strengths, and interests.
I hold a BA from Bates College and a Master of Education in School Counseling from California Lutheran University. I'm a member of HECA, WACAC, and ASCA.
This process belongs to your student.
My job is to help them own it — and to make sure you both feel supported along the way.
